This article on the page of "Tourism Mauritius" shows the depiction of the beautiful capital of Mauritius that is Port Louis. It is relevant to my topic “Zilwa Attractions” because it generates different attractions of Mauritius which portrays the love for the island. Port Louis is at the heart of the island wherein there are many attractive buildings and activities which add values to the culture and traditions of the country and as such this attracts many tourists in the country.
Moreover, there is the stunning central market which is known as the soul of Mauritius attract many local and foreign people. There are many other attractive places in Port Louis which create the love for new adventure and exploration. There is La place D’Armes, Statue of Mahe de la Bourdonnais, The Government House and the Port Louis theater create the attractiveness of exploitation wherein people would visit and capture those memorable moments. Furthermore, there is the Aapravasi Ghat which is one of the most historical places in Mauritius. It depicts the arrival of Indian laborers and the abolition of slavery which create equality and brotherhood in the country. Therefore, these attractions have inspired me to know different culture and places of interest in Mauritius.
In addition, Port Louis consists of the Marie Reine de la Paix which is a religious place where people enjoy the calmness and peace of nature. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden wherein people can relax and do picnic which creates tranquility in a person’s life. Furthermore, there is the Champ de Mars which is an attractive and popular place for many people wherein they can see horse races with family and friends. The place contributes a colorful and friendly crowd where people celebrate their victory and love for the horse.
Finally, there is the Caudan Waterfront which is one of the most visited places that attract many tourist’s arrivals. Therefore, it consists of many shops, food courts, restaurant, cinema and gaming places which give a positive impact on the life of the citizen Mauritius. In addition, there was the event of Porlwi by light which was in the honor of the capital Port Lous and it was a great success because it had attracted many people to together. Therefore, Port Louis is known for its attractiveness, beautifying and innovative places which will create harmony in the life of each people.
